Comment:

The drop in men having man boob, or moobs surgery does not necessarily indicate a lower number of men who could undergo the surgery but rather a change in mental state. 

If the BAAPS surgeons are right in their assumptions that this is due to more men choosing exercise over surgery then this is a good step in the right direction. 

 

 

Research:

 The number of men having surgery to deal with man boobs has dropped says The British Association of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery (BAAPS), although overall the number of surgeries carried out by BAAPS surgeons remained stable. 

In 20012 there were 43,172 man boob, or moobs surgeries, this was a drop in 18% from the previous year. 

Surgeons are saying this could be a result of more people going to the gym to get into shape, spurred on by the impressive 2012 Olympics.
